Amanda, the artist

A couple of weekends ago at Open Studios, I'd visited the artist Amanda Bradbury and bought one of her prints showing a curlew. We see curlews on the shores of Loch Etive when we visit my family home.

Today I had arranged to meet Amanda outside Waitrose so she could hand over the print. She was a bit alarmed at being asked to pose, so it's a rushed shot. I don't like putting my subjects through the mill.

Next step is to get it framed. This may be expensive, I fear. Other than that, it's been an average Monday, but I have just made an above average gf fruit cake. It is far too late to start sampling, but by tomorrow it will have cooled down.
