Ritual humiliation?

Tonight was a light warm up for the Gifford Gentlemen FC. Tomorrow is the big day when we take on a ladies team in a charity fundraiser. EEK!

The West of Scotland Ladies Select has been put together by an ex Sampdoria Ladies player, and includes a fair smattering of players who have appeared for teams you may have actaully heard of - we are sooooooo going to get a thrashing. Think Christians v Lions, and you'll get the idea...

We are playing the match to raise a few quid for the family of a local man who recently was involved in an horrific accident at work. He will be in the spinal injuries clinic in Glasgow for months to come, and although he is receiving the very best of treatment (for free!! - take note Mitt Romney) his family are incurring a lot of expense travelling through every day. This is our way of giving a little bit of support.

Kick off is 4pm at the Bleachfield Park in Gifford - please come along and enjoy the spectacle.
