Shelter

We did a lot of fire lighting today, generating embers and coals with flint or fire drill and then blowing it into flame using dried catkins and grass. It's relatively easy to start a fire if you have the right tools ;)

Then we built our shelter for the night. Branches, bracken and leaf litter (with just a meter or two of string for good measure).

We'd skinned & butchered pigeon & trout for lunch. Tea was rabbit and woodland salad. And chocolate and nuts.
