There is an element within the English supporters who embarrass themselves and their country but at least they are pretty much reviled by everyone back home, especially politicians and their ilk. It seems that the same cannot be said about the Russians, at least some including politicians find this type of behaviour something to be proud of with one notable prick actually making a statement along the lines of 'this is what real men look like, not those that march in gay pride events'. An offensive statement at any time but even more so in light of recent events. I saw a quote of FB today from Morgan Freeman which summed up people like this very nicely, he said:


'I hate the word homophobia. It is not a fear. You are not scared. You are an asshole'.
