A rainy, colder cloudy day, but that did not deter my enthusiasm to find the swan family, down on the canal.
They had returned to the nest, and a local dog walker said he thought they were born on Saturday, making them less than a week old. They were making cute squeaking sounds.
The place was very peaceful and quiet apart from dog walkers.
The canal boat moored beside the café still had their shutters down.
