"Bessie "

This is always introduced by me as Bessie. I know people will not remember it's scientific name of Beschorneria yuccoides, the specific name referring to the fact that the leaves look like a Yucca. The plant originates from Mexico but is quite at home in the Southern counties of England. This was not photographed in France as you may imagine but at Bennetts Water Garden in Weymouth.
