Fiestas in Alicante

In June we enjoy 'The Hogueras' of Alicante- the whole city celebrates the coming of Summer! - with bonfires, fireworks, music, dancing and food!! - over several days!
These lovely ladies are the 'damas' and they participate wearing their traditional dresses-very beautiful they are, too
The children are an essential part of the fiestas - and they continue the traditions. There are 'damas infantil'- also with beautiful outfits
