Església de St. Esteve

It was a day of exploring today. First we walked down to Andorra La Vella and went for a wander around the old town. Then we explored the Pyrenee department store, where we picked up a holiday present for Maddy and had some lunch as the restaurants on the third floor were highly recommended.

We set out at about ten and it was almost four by the time we wandered back up to the hotel. We were a wee bit damp as there was a thunderstorm while we were walking about. One minute it was clear blue skies like this then the clouds rolled in and the showers started. We relaxed for a bit in the hotel and the sun came out again so we went back for another wander. This time we headed the other way and went up to the art gallery to see the Miro exhibition which is on just now. From there we headed to teh Caldea spa to buy three day passes for some point through the week. On route we stopped in a wee toy shop where Roz treated herself to one of these.

After that it was back down towards the old town for some dinner then a walk back to the hotel through another thunderstorm.

Now we're sat relaxing waiting for the olympic opening ceremony and having one or two of these.
