why has it got it's socks on?

arrived in Dover early hours so decided to sleep for a while and visit the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch narrow gauge railway. it runs for 14miles from Hythe to Dungeness. Dungeness is a place so different from anywhere else l have been and we spent an hour or so wandering on the pebble spit.
the railway was great fun even though the model railway exhibition was a little disappointing.
