Tiny Tuesday - Just missed the leprechaun

I had every intention of getting an amazing picture of my black chinned hummingbird this morning. I had my chair set up, coffee by my side and the 400mm lens on my camera.

This little hummer isn't as cooperative as Barney is, so patience is needed to catch him. Since that is not my strong suit, I was distracted by the mushrooms growing in the yard. While I was busy with the mushrooms, that little stinker buzzed in, got his drink and was flying off just as I looked up. 

I will have to get him another day.

I am grateful to be able to sit and enjoy the little things in life.
