Purple iris
A wet day in Edinburgh makes for a pretty blip of a purple Iris in the church grounds up the road. I took this shot on my way back home after an afternoon in Glasgow today. I was there to give a talk on social media and academic profiles, which went well and generated a lot of discussion amongst the audience. (It was also damp in Glasgow.)
My main achievement of the day however, is a huge step count (for me). I walked to work. Two meetings later I walked to Haymarket station from the office to catch the train to Glasgow Queen Street. I walked to Glasgow University from Queen Street and back again. Once back in Edinburgh I walked from Waverley Station back home to my flat.
Exercise today: walking (25,129 steps).
