baby birds

Checked on the baby birds today.  The mama sits on the nest but as soon as you get even in the vicinity she flies off and hides in the rosa rugosa bushes.  Too bad she didn't build the nest in the rosa rugosa bushes!

There are at least two sparrow nests in the ivy on the side of the house.  Those nest are too high up for me to see what there is in them but there is lots if in and out activity by the adults.

It's been another beautiful day of sunshine with temperature of 60ºF/16ºC.  Did a bit of weeding and spent the afternoon at Korsville with John & Rena.  

The light coloured buildings are the crab factory on Gills Pier as we see it from the house.
