Weeding..
..this shot taken after. Before is in the extras, along with a nice cloud picture.
Spent about 4 hours doing this, and have "found" 6 rows of parsnips. Just two half rows left to do. And four rows of carrots to the right! And the cabbages, beans, peas, chard, beetroot, onions.. Perhaps easier to say "all" of it! But these need doing first, and the rest are no where near as bad..
And saw these lovely crepuscular (I think) clouds..
Anyone seen the news about the Diamond Backed Moth that's invaded in "biblical" proportions? That's where I used to work, and my good friend Mark (the one we have a meal with on our southern trip at Xmas) telling us about the DBM. Scientists are trying to find an insecticide that will control it (the caterpillars), but as there are none with a recommendation for it, it could be a major problem. Start stockpiling cabbages and cauliflowers and margarine now, as they will be very costly (if available at all)..
I have clouds of them on my brasicas..
