Sheltering

This blue-tailed damselfly (Ischnura elegans) was sheltering among the marsh horsetails but the rain was still penetrating there as you can see by the drop on its thorax. It probably got wetter still later on as the rain really came down hard after I returned home.

I didn't have wellies on so couldn't get close for a true macro.  This was taken from about 6 feet away with a long telephoto.
