Four Cerulean Nestlings

We paid our last visit this morning to the Cerulean Warblers nesting on Mt. Holyoke in Hadley, Mass. As you can see, they are bulging out of the nest.  In the afternoon, we left for Boston's Logan Airport, where I'm posting this. It's a long-planned trip (stay tuned :) and we're very sad that we won't have the chance to try to  see the little ones fledge (take their first flights).  But perhaps we'll be fortunate  and they'll nest in another visible spot next year. This year's location was exceptional; I hope many of you enjoyed following the family's progress (for the past week, starting here).
