Sky Blue
Corydalis 'Craigton Blue'finally gets it''s turn in the spotlight. A plant raised in the Aberdeen garden of my friend Ian Young, this hybrid of Corydalis flexuosa can be almost too vigorous in cool northern gardens. Here in dry and warm East Anglia it can still hold it's own, spreading gradually but tending to die back in hot summers. It is the most wonderful sky blue colour, lighting up the part shaded border where it grows.
A positive day on several fronts, not least Ruth's two medical appointments which went well.
