Played tourist guide when I took nine of the the visiting PhD students on a tour of a rather dull Edinburgh this morning. Leaving the castle esplanade I realised I was on a road I'd never walked before!

Gave Miss L moral support at her Grade VI singing exam which seemed to go well.

Otherwise the course seems to be running well with a good vibe from the students. Having finished my teaching on it, I can relax with a beer before the course dinner tonight.
