Apres Swim

One of her typically Katie days. She was fed and dressed by 7 and did almost 90 minutes of clarinet and piano. We cycled to school in the rain but it soon brightened up. They spent the day in the Y4 classroom whilst some of their classmates did the phonics screening. She came home with some notes from her friend. They'd fallen out but had decided to make friends, it was quite cute. Her and another friend had decided to write a story about an alien to take to the headmaster.

She wants Cher tea as soon as we got home then had a play before it was time for swimming. They did lots of synchronised swimming today. Katie really likes it but her and friend were out with some boys who were not that convinced! She was quite disgruntled!

On the way home we pass a new spot of artificial grass by the new shopping centre. She invariably stops to do some gymnastics. Yesterday she learnt to flick from a seated pike into crab. Her friend at dance has been doing it a while so she was desperate to learn! In onesie and wellies of course.
