DawnAgain

Rogers

It's pretty difficult most of the time to tell whether we have one or several Rogers (aka squirrels) visiting our garden every day but today there were two clues. The first was the simultaneous appearance of two of them (henceforth known as 'The Two Rogers'); the second was the distinctive ear injury this one was sporting.

So today consisted of a nice walk with the dogs first thing, a trip to the Post Office and then a Sainsbury's run, followed by work this afternoon (I was on my own for the first time in ages and it wasn't too bad). Then I cooked enchiladas for the boys and went with Mr DawnAgain and the dogs (who seemed to want to join us) to Petersfield Heath. We were pleased to see a swan on the nest nearest the car park as, according to the local paper, a dog attacked the nesting swan the other day, causing her to abandon the nest. There is a barricade up now and hopefully all is well. I do wish some dog owners wouldn't be so ignorant. We also saw one of the terrapins, although it vanished right in front of our eyes (presumably underwater).
