We stand with Orlando

This evening there was a vigil in St Andrews Square in Edinburgh to express solidarity with Orlando in the aftermath of the hate crime LGBTI shootings at the Pulse nightclub.

There were many hundreds present despite the awful weather and a range of singers and speakers including the First Minister,

I was particularly taken by the wide variety of posters on display including many from the Scottish Episcopal Church with the simple message "We stand with Orlando".
