The Kiwis' entry to the Olympic Opening

I enjoy watching some of the Olympics, but have to admit there are only certain things I watch. This is the NZ contingent led by Beijing 1500m silver medallist Nick Willis, wearing the traditional Maori cloak.Weaving holds great spiritual significance within maori culture. These cloaks were usually woven from flax with the addition of feathers etc for decoration. The Korowai (cloak) a finely woven garment is worn as a mantle of prestige and honour.
