Thursday morning

Another early morning walk. Like yesterday, it seemed cool when I left the house but soon was muggy and I stripped off layers.

Yesterday's Rhubarb and Custard cake was a success. I'd describe it as "Puddingish". 

My strawberries are ripening fast and the new bed is producing too. I hope my sisters keep picking whilst we are away next week otherwise they maybe wasted. 

I have Alison from 12.30 so we shall go out for lunch and then to Great Chalfield Manor. (NT) Heavy Rain is forecast so plans may have to be adjusted.
