Saguaro Cactus Flower

This is a Saguaro that has reached about 25 feet tall.  It takes 75 years for a Saguaro to grow it's first arm.  I love how alien looking the nubs are before they open into a flower.

Check out my extra photo of the day.  While driving yesterday a pigeon landed on my car.  I thought "Oh no, it's pooping into the grill of my car".  But it only wanted to hitchhike a ride for about 3 blocks.  It was hilarious and I was glad I had my camera sitting on my car seat instead of in its case!
