Respect

Stage two of the Aviva women's cycle tour started in Atherstone and went through some of the hillier parts of Warwickshire ( yes there are some!) today , finishing in Bridge Street Stratford. They rode in torrential rain and arrived spattered in mud and soaking wet.
Afterwards they cooled down riding round the streets for a few minutes. We made our way home to watch the Football( well done England), bumping into blipper FrankS on the way.
This is Emma Pooley, world champ cyclist , triathlete , duathlete, runner, and all round Superwoman, chatting in the street with the rest of her team, British Cycling Team. We heard her praising one of the younger members telling her what a good job she had done, Manon Lloyd. women to watch at the Olympics?!

Lucie would like to thank everyone for all the hearts she received yesterday. She enjoyed being in the spotlight.
