Abstract Thursday - Keeping it Minimal

Today's Abstract Thursday challenge is 'Keeping it Minimal' - thanks as always to youoregon1 for hosting. Well, given I normally go over the top for Abstract Thursday, it was quite a challenge to keep it minimal!!! I opted for a mono shot of a snail on a chainsaw corkscrew sculpture in my garden, so the abstract is just in the shapes and grain. 

We made a big impact at the Linford Arts Centre this morning with the Green Gym as we had a good turnout and they had let the garden areas get a bit unkempt. I'm posting this whilst a thunderstorm is raging overhead - thank goodness I'm indoors as I'm a bit of a wimp where thunderstorms are concerned!!!
