What inspired this thought was seeing Jonty and Foxy crashed out, Jonty draped across Marlane, and it's only 18:30.
We (Marlane, Betty and I) went out and left them for about an hour and a half while we popped over to see one of our nephews as it is his 11th birthday. Jonty doesn't like being left but Foxy keeps him company. We would have taken them with us but we also had Dhylan and Lennon and it's a bit of squash in that little Suzuki Alto so they just had to wait for us to get back.

It also struck me that the way Jonty is lying put me in mind of a Roman senator at one of those parties where they have servants feeding them grapes (but not dogs of course!) and wine.
