A complicated day

DS#1 returned to Marseille today taking a friend to the airport and returning his hire car - thankfully getting back his his £800 deposit. We then arranged to meet him and Charlotte A in Nimes but after we had set off, a grumpy phone call said that the train from Marseille to Nimes would take about four hours and cost a fortune. 
Arles provided a more happy medium and it meant that after we had met up, we all pottered around the centre for the first time. And very pretty and impressive it was with Roman architecture everywhere along with the more typical French Mediterranean vernacular.
Another trip to Leroy on the way back ensured plenty of work to do tomorrow.
