Why MCA?

Katie's here! In Shrewsbury! At the Quantum Leap! Doing the YMCA!

The newly qualified Dr Katie is in Shrewsbury on the first leg of her epic bike ride up through the Peaks, through Yorkshire, up to Durham and across to the Lakes. At least we know now that NHS are producing hardy souls. She joined the musketeers at spoons tonight for refuelling before a very early night (ie. A normal 66b night) before a big section tomorrow. SS has gone for a sleepover with CS and I'm dreaming of a house where I can offer beds to multiple people.

Today's session in school was utter hilarity. I'm not sure what the kids were on today but they were just brilliant and hilarious. SS had to leave the room at one point before she a giggle related accident. Love those kids.

We got back in time to watch the last fifteen minutes of the game (dull) and then watch a beautiful bride-to-be try on her special dress (very much not dull).

Really sad to hear about Jo Cox tonight. Can't imagine the devastation her family must be feeling. I'm with Sprout, the world feels like a very crazy place right now.
