Misplaced pride?

Watched the footy in the office this afternoon. We had a few laughs and it lightened the atmosphere but every computer seemed to be on a different time so we heard about the goals before our pictures caught up! A moment to be proud of our country, and the U.K. as Wales played their part. And Northern Ireland also got a great result.

But while we were celebrating, very close to home, an MP was killed in her home town and constituency. A cold blooded killing in broad daylight. It's been a week of terrible news. What sort of world are we living in?
