Taste the Difference

That might be the Sainsbury ad but it works well in my Chinese taster session which aimed to demystify the language - without giving the real mandarin orange for tasting. It was quite interactive with a mixed audience this lunch time. 

William, staff from Chemistry, said that he wanted to speak a bit Mandarin to greet Chinese students at Queen's while two students - Collins (Biological Sciences) is preparing for his fieldwork in China and Joseph (EEE) is teaming up with another 10 students who are leaving Belfast this evening for China on a 4-week long study programme. 

All sounds great as the flame of enthusiasm of learning the language has kept burning regardless of the cold rain today.
