Mrs. Mallard.......

.....and her three kids showed up on the doorstep this afternoon.  They've discovered the birdseed the birds kick out of the feeder so they spent some time enjoying the bits.  Mrs. M. quacked non-stop the entire time they were there.  We finally had to shoo her off to shut her up.  That didn't seem to bother her because she was back within minutes and kept right on quacking.

I will be off blip for a few days.  I'm heading to visit my son in San Francisco for the weekend and I'm not taking my computer.  I won't be without my camera though -- heaven forbid!  I'll back-blip when I get home.  Bye for now.
