Where Are All The People?

Cynthia and I went down to Lake Padden for some exercise and a few photos this morning. There were lots of cars in the parking lot near the playground and picnic shelter, but not many people on the trails. The excitement of the playground group was too much for one little person -- extra photo.

The cold breeze quickly blew away any warmth gained from the sunshine -- in the shade it was hard to believe it's already mid-June. We were eager for a hot drink when we got home.

The afternoon was not fun -- mowing and edging the lawn and miscellaneous chores. No time for woodworking -- we're off to visit daughter and grandkids tomorrow. We'll be attending Granddaughter Z's eighth grade graduation.

Our overnight accommodation will be in their giant RV parked in the driveway. It's quite luxurious, and a lot newer than the Airstream trailer we stayed in on our California trip recently. We'll be back Saturday evening in time for me to prepare for another excursion with my son on Sunday. It's all go, as my Dad used to say.
