A very mixed sort of a day!
Lunch club was so hectic as 3 of our team were away - worn down to our knees!
We then went to a memorial picnic at Dunstable Downs to commemorate one of Beks friends who died 3 years ago today at only 21- just heart breaking.
I couldn't face going straight home so we drive to Tring and discovered some delightful madness. To commemorate the Queens birthday they had decorated the square and churchyard in wonderful knotted creations. Thanks to the joy of Facebook they had managed to contact loads of people to donate including a 92 year old who used to live in Tring and is now in South Africa - he made a knitted hat that sits on top of a decorated signpost. I lived the afternoon tea bollard!
