Snoozing

Today has been cold and wet.  In fact it is so cold this evening that Ann has had to put her cardi and slippers on.  Obviously she is wearing other clothes as well.

I haven’t done anything remotely interesting today and both my walks have been boring little treks around town, where Ann has wittered on to me about how cold it is and I have walked slower than a snail.

.......................And that’s why I’ve been blipped having a snooze!!!

Update on the big Edinburgh flat refurbishment.....................

......................It’s almost finished.  Yay!  All the major stuff has been completed.  The decorators started yesterday and they’re going to do the living room/kitchen and one of the bedrooms first so that when we go up next week we have somewhere to live and they can just do the other rooms while we’re there.   Andy says he’s going to keep the joiner free for a couple of days next week so that he can do all the finishing off jobs – door handles, curtain rails, etc (which we currently have in St Ives).  And obviously if we’re living there we will be able to make a snagging list which they will also attend to.  Plus they’re going to build a load of IKEA furniture for us.  They’re just fabulous.  Can’t recommend them highly enough.
