Zurichsee
We took the train to Rapperswil, on Lake Zurich. The picture is of the Holzbrucke, a rebuilt wooden bridge that is almost a kilometre long (you can't see it all at one time because it zigzags). Since medieval times the bridge has formed part of the traditional pilgrim route to Santiago, and it is still used for that purpose - we saw one or two people with rucksacks who might have been aiming for a long walk. This is also a bird sanctuary and we saw nesting coots, grebes and gulls.
