Lean to the left
A trip down some very narrow tracks to see burial mounds and some 7th century Celtic crosses at Kirk Maughold this morning. This afternoon I went back over to Jurby to the Isle of Man Motor Museum.
There were several cars that could have come straight out of Bond films. I toyed with the idea of a big Chevrolet hearse, but in the end settled for this Mustang as a reminder of the car chase in "Diamonds Are Forever".
The actual chase in the film contains a famous continuity gaffe at the end of the chase. To escape the police through a narrow alley by driving his car on its two right wheels. But when the car emerges at the other end it is on its two left wheels.
The mistake was not caught until too late so an insert was hastily reshot in which Bond instructs Tiffany to lean in the other direction before we see the car emerge from the alley.
I don't have any photo editing software with me on holiday, so this car is my entry for FSF11.
