Nouveau chapeau

My current sailing cap is 25 plus years old and definitely has seen better days.
Trouble is the Nauticalia "Breton" caps are :-
A) made in China
B) have braid on the peak
Both of which mean no cred.
This one is made in France and bought in Brittany with no braid in sight.
I shall tie it on a spare halyard and hoist it aloft for a week to "weather" then it should be perfect!
