Cake

Well, I've already had the full screen blood test and I've now had the ultrasound scan but won't learn either result for another week so today I indulged in a slice of cake, something I have not permitted myself even on my birthday last weekend.

And there's still time to accept the free birthday cream scone at the garden centre before I learn whether or not the strict diet was worth the effort.
