On the Throne

Now I ought to be smug about having had a week off work. I should have memory cards packed with creatures of the Farne Islands. I should have caught up with all of my chores and jobs at home. I should have cut the grass, polished the windows, cleaned the mirrors and pictures and dusted and hoovered all through. Instead, I am simply grateful to feel well again after a week of shocking pain, rising and falling temperatures and frequent trips to the loo. My week can be summed up by this amusing little metal sculpture. You can keep all your champagne, caviar, wealth and privilege. Without your health you have nothing.
