Out of Retirement at last

Not bad for an old gal that is now about 44 years old. She's spent a decade or two out of sight, out of mind, unloved and forgotten. But now, after an overhaul, repair and spruce up she's back from retirement decked out with her own leather bound display box ... all ready for wrist time at high tea. It's my dear departed Dad's 1972 Seiko Lordmatic featuring day date complications and a hi-beat hacking movement. Here and there she shows the rigours of age and battle. But many a fine tune's been played on an old fiddle and according to the watchmaker at Orange, she's good for many years yet.

No focus stacking, tripods or fancy lighting set ups here guys. Just an impulsive quick shot of the grand old LM on my wrist at the desk - illuminated by the computer monitor and trusting to luck (one handed) at 1/13th sec.
