2016 Friday -- Flirting Fog
Today arrived with a definite horizon dividing the ocean from the sky and plenty of sunshine; then mid-morning the fog started flirting with the shoreline and continued teasing the coastline for the remainder of the day.
About 11:00 we met with a landscape man. The south side of our property needs to be transformed into a safe, secure place for our three pups so we're talking about a little bit of lawn and a short fence with a gate at each end.
After the landscape guy left, we drove north 14 miles to Cambria today to have lunch at the Bridge Street Cafe and purchase three of their delicious carrot cake cupcakes to take to our former construction crew, who are currently building a home on Cambridge Street on the ocean side of the city of Cambria, which is a city that is divided by Hwy. 1.
After lunch we drove to the construction site. We got a quick tour of the beautiful home they are building, gave them the cupcakes, and then made our exit so we did not slow their work day because we know they like to finish at about 3:30 on Friday instead of the usual 5:00 p.m.
Then later as we drove south and back into Cayucos, the fog was thick further south over the city of Morro Bay and wisping through the trees and around the buildings of Cayucos.
Good night from California's Central Coast,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
