La Chappelle Notre Dame du Haut

Although this iconic chapel designed by Le Corbusier is over 60 miles from where we are staying, we felt that we had to make time to visit it. It is every bit as stunning as we expected. Designed to take full advantage of the natural light wherever the sun is, it feels gloomy when you first go inside, but as you get used to the light level it really is amazing.
