'Stormtrooper'
Today we SHOULD have gone to Mottisfont to see the Roses. The weather forecast was so bad Kelly and I decided to go to West Quays in Southampton. We had coffee..then some retail therapy..I treated her to lunch at Wagamamas...late Birthday lunch for her. She bought some new walking boots with the Birthday money we'd given her and I bought a new top in Fat Face. We couldn't believe the weather...blue sky and sunshine..we could have gone to NT after all. We had a lovely day together...precious for us..school collection time cuts it short though.
Martin had organised a promotion day for his company. He drove home with this huge inflatable 'Stormtrooper' in his car. Alex..who is a great lover of Star Wars was thrilled.
I had a wet drive home this evening...drove into rain at Portsmouth. Chichester was flooded..I was amazed at the idiots who had no lights on and speeding along in such weather. I saw three serious accidents on the way home..the police and paramedics certainly had a busy evening. Finally, as I came down the hill on the Brighton by pass..I saw a car with no front wheels totally wrecked..police were there too. No other car involved. I drove with great mindfulness and arrived home safe and sound. Ps I should have straightened this..house isn't really sloping like this. Haha.
