Graduation garb
Travelled up to son number one's flat in Sheffield via M-in-law's house. Had a quick stop there to say hello, catch up on things, cut some grass, plant a few geraniums and have lunch. Then, onwards to Sheffield to meet up with son number one and begin the graduation preparations.
We were able to pick up his gown, hood and mortar board in the afternoon as the ceremony is early tomorrow. Why the hood is pink (sorry, crushed strawberry) and covered in faux fur remains a mystery!
Left both sons in the flat and went to our budget hotel in the city centre. Not bad for the price. Found a nice curry house nearby for an evening meal.
Early start tomorrow as we need to be in our glad rags and at the university by 8.30 am.
