Made it to church for a great service...

Home for lunch and rest; the heat is so draining! G is due another visa run soon, and I thought it would be good to do it after work on a weekday, but really, they get quite busy, so big spur of the moment decision to head out at 6 to get it out of the way!

SO GLAD we did. Clear roads, much cooler, it was nice to drive away from the sun, and we got better lighting for photographs. The image has to be attributed to G though. She's got quite the eye. I wish she would start blipping again.

Visa run all done smoothly in 4 hours... no hiccups this time, and I even accompanied her on the whole journey. Dubai was positively buzzing at 10pm. Big tailbacks on our street, but I got parked up fairly quickly. G doesn't have to do one of these till October now! Phew.
