All in a whirl
Em has had friends and family around this evening.She has spent the day cooking and preparing along with Helen so everything is ready.
I have been trying to get on with jobs on the nursery but I have been held up by one visitor after another all day.This has meant that my drive and yard are still full of hedge cuttings as people have started to arrive.
Managed to get some plants ordered for the Autumn to increase the range that we will have on offer.
Having moved to biological control methods we are starting to see the emergence of new pests that would have been controlled as we used broad spectrum insecticides.We are having to learn what they are and what predators we can use against them to save resorting to chemicals.Luckily there are some good entomologists that we can call on for advice.
Dry and mild.
