This is the calf of my favourite Beltie, Billie (who superseded Bobbie who mysteriously disappeared last year). The cows were having a relaxed morning over the common, safely behind their electric fence, and my day has been similarly quiet, doing some paperwork at home, watching the tennis on TV and the birds (and squirrels) on the feeder. The woodpecker put in a very brief appearance but not long enough to take any photos. Lots of baby blue tits around, though, and also the male bullfinch from the other day.
