Fresh Snow in the Middle of June!

Thank goodness I woke up early this morning, it is so long since we have seen the mountains and they did not stay visible for long. It has snowed high on the Dents du Midi, whilst it has rained so hard at our altitude. We just managed to get an hour's kayaking in for the first time this year before the clouds lowered.

The rain is now back but all seems rather superficial when the News brings you so close to others' grief and brings back shadows of your own. And the world keeps turning, the sun always giving a light show somewhere, when you think it should stop.
