Market Day
If we were not careful we would spend all our holiday visiting different markets.
This is one of our favourite, in the village of St - Cecile- les -Vignes.
A small peaceful village , and as the name suggests, surrounded by vines in one of the most important Cotes du Rhone wine-making areas.
More information about the village here.
After filling our basket, until it would hold now more, we had a coffee, and listened to the jazz band.
Not a sunny morning, but warm, and no rain after last nights downpours.
Back here for lunch. ( see extra for our dessert. Purchased at one of the village patisseries. Again sooooo yummy, and as light as a feather.
Had a drive out to another village this afternoon, and a walk round.
Got back before the heavens opened again, and the thunder rumbled.
Thank you so much for your comments etc. for my beautiful little moth. It was a Box Tree moth. ( thank you Mollyblobs) One which is dreaded in the UK as it causes much damage to the box hedges.
