Jacaranda trees in bloom in Lisbon

We took a tour on one of the hop-on/hop-off buses to get a feel of the city and to not strain my feet and knee. I took lots of pictures but they are a bit difficult from a riding bus. Gorgeous weather and a beautiful looking city!
Everywhere these beautiful flowering trees with the greatest shade of purple are in bloom. Here the trees are hiding the rather splendid facade of the Penitenciaria, a rather splendid looking prison close to the Eduardo VII park.
